This cache is hidden in the grounds of St Paul's Church in the middle of Whitley Bay.
There is good shopping facilities and coffee stops. Toilets in the Mall.

You will be walking on a grassed area. Dogs on leads are permitted.
St Paul's Church is the parish church of Whitley Bay, North Tyneside, The church was founded in 1863. Strictly speaking, the church's official title is 'St Paul's Church, Cullercoats', however because it is in the town of Whitley Bay it is more commonly known as the latter.
St Nicholas Festival
The church is well known in the region as the starting point of the annual St Nicholas Festival at the beginning of December.
St. Paul's Bell Ringers is based in the Diocese of Newcastle and practice's at St. Paul's Church.
The Church was built in 1863 and consecrated on September 3rd, 1864. Until this time Whitley Bay had been in the Parish of Tynemouth but the clergy found it increasingly difficult to administer in this remote part of their territory.
The Duke of Northumberland offered to build a new church, which became known as St. Paul's Church, Cullercoats. Although a newer Church closer to Tynemouth has since been built, St. Paul's Church is still officially registered as being in the Parish of Cullercoats.
The grounds are owned by North Tyneside Council who cut the grass and generally keep the graveyard in good order, ensuring the tomb stones are safe to the General public who are encouraged to use the grounds when ever they are in the area. Seating is secluded and the gardens are kept by a small but dedicated group from the Church.
There is no parking within the Church Grounds.
