This is a small well kept cemetery in Raisinville Township it is also known as the King/Sackett Cemetery.
There is a War of 1812 veteran buried here. W.C. Andrews . Died July 18, 1874, at the age of 82, and buried in Sackett or King Cemetery in Raisinville Township. His wife Laura T., who died Feb 9, 1881, at the age of 78, is buried in the same cemetery. His grave is marked as that of a veteran. He served as a drum major in the war.
This is a simple cache in a small camoed container, nothing fancy. I’ve been wanting to place one here for some time. My first choice of locations was a little too small for the container. If everything goes well I’ll upgrade to a larger container.
Did upgrade to a small to medium loc-n-loc.
Please observe Michigan Cemetery laws and only hunt from sunrise to sunset.
It was a chilly, windy day when I placed this so if any problems with cords please let me know. (Actually I placed this after finding another cemetery cache)
Parking is in front of the gate/entrance.
Hope you enjoy the area.
