Geocache Description:

You can find the cache (brown timber box) in a little skanzen; in the fore-portico of the very old smallholder house. You can step without ticket of admission in.

Kisbajom is situated on the damp-soil sandy land of Rinya-brook, therefore it is surrounded by forests with alder and peninculated (marshland) oak trees.

Kisbajom hasn’t railway-station and it is at the end of the approach road, therefore the quick process of changing of 1900s kept clear of it, and the old look of the village partially remained.
They established a little skanzen by reconstruction Kisbajom and Rinyakovácsi houses of farmers of bygone centuries. Those are so-called having-a-foot houses (talpas-ház). Oak beems serve as the foundation of this type of houses. Then they made the walls by tamping clay. They made the roof with using rye-thatch.
Yo can also view buildings those are necessary for smallholders: pigsty, coach-house, cornloft, smith shop and cowhouse.
In case you want to step inside these houses, you will contact with manager of near Forest School (Erdei Iskola) and you will book the admittance ticket for guiding. You have to know that the admittance into the courtyard of the skanzen is totally free and you can view the buildings closely. In case the little fence-gate is closed, you can drow the inner bolt aside and then you can step in.
Please consider the situation that everybody greets everybody in this village (good morning – jó reggelt; good day – jó napot; good evening – jó estét).
