Geocache Description:

This series was placed by bluerover2 in the hope that it goes someway towards thanking those who have placed caches for them to find , enjoy, puzzle over, swear a bit over and cheer when they finally come together and not forgetting the satisfaction of finding caches that other people are walking by with no idea there is anything there to find.

This series is about 3km from point to point and traverses a footpath, about 500 mtrs of made up fairly quiet country road, a By-Way (unfortunately used for green laning, but not over busy and mostly m/c's when it is) and then another stretch of road through the village and back to the starting point. This is the busiest bit of road with no footpath and is the extension of a public footpath - so take care.

You are able to take dogs on leads under control but, as this is shooting country, be aware of dogs that don’t like loud bangs.

As usual in the Meon Valley there are some great views of old Winchester Hill and Beacon Hill and the valley below.

Caches vary in size and some contain clues for the bonus cache which can be found within easy walking distance of the circuit.

Enjoy !!
