A replacement for FORE! which was ravaged by by two and four-legged muggles. Those who completed FORE! may see some similarity. But not much!
A five-stage multi-cache designed to familiarize you with a few common methods of displaying a geographical position and how your GPS deals with them. Any bearings will be of the non-magnetic variety. You may want to consider bringing your GPS's user guide/manual along for reference.
The difficulty of this cache will be strongly affected by the sophistication of your GPSr. Some receivers will do it all. Others will require manual calculation, assistance from another source, or online reference.
The stages:
1. Tea at 5 - Other - Not a physical cache - What's your vector, Victor?
2. Nearly Stumped - 3 rocks in front of a rock wall. The stump died.
3. Evergreen2 - FORE! stage one relocated - micro.
4. Knarly - pill bottle.
5. Magellan - Ammo can brought back from MommaJerk's and my 2010 trip geocaching the Great Lakes Seaway Trail. We earned ten new geocoins and had a blast. Check out seawaytrail.com.
And a hearty congratulations to Chris K in Geauga for being the First to Find!
