The Snyder Ave Park opened 10/19/10 is a new Union County Park
which features athletic fields and recreation facilities
constructed with funding from the Union County Open Space,
Recreation and Historic Preservation Trust Fund, a New Jersey Green
Acres grant, and a donation from the New York Jets football
team.
The facility has a multi-purpose turf field, baseball fields,
playground, lights and facilities. Originally, the 17-acre site
called Stanford Drive housed and old industrial site, two vacant
industrial buildings belonging to Shaw Plastics, and the former
Barry Oil Service/Duffy Fuels facility..
