Poggio Tempesti si trova sull' ultima collina del crinale che divide il Padule di Fucecchio dai colli di Cerreto Guidi.
Da qui passarono i Medici per andare a caccia e a pesca nell' area umida interna più grande d'Italia,anche in tempi remoti il posto era stimato dagli etruschi, come dimostra il ritrovamento di un urna cineraria esposta nel museo civico di Fucecchio
Poggio Tempesti is located on the hills facing the marshes Padule di Fucecchio, the biggest sweet water swamp of Italy.
The Medici family passed here to join their hunting and fishing area and even in more remote times the place was appreciated by the etruscans. Their presence was affirmed by the discoveing by of a funeral urn now exposed in the Museum of Fucecchio.
