Geocache Description:

This is a bison tube in Advent Cemetery in Solina. The church is long gone, but the monuments have been gathered so the early inhabitants won't be forgotten. As always treat the area with respect.

I was chatting with some other cachers at the 10 10 10 event north of Bowmanville, and the subject of nano caches came up. It was mentioned that it was sometimes hard to get the log out to sign it. There were some other things mentioned about nano caches too, but I would like to keep this polite so I won`t include those comments. I had just gotten an order of nanos, so that gave me the idea for the name of this series of caches. Some of the caches will be magnetic, some will be those little vials hidden in whatever manner seems to be a good idea at the time. I`ll be spacing these out so that more people will have a chance at FTF. I hope you enjoy them. The stones of the Advent Cemetery are gathered together on a semi-circular base. These are large standing monuments rather than the usual flat stones. Some appear to be replacements for earlier, perhaps broken, stones. This is a well kept site with parking for about 3 cars, but as it is just beyond the brow of the hill for cars approaching from the west, parking on the roadside is not suggested. Congratulations to Compatico for their first FTF!
