SideTracked caches are intended to provide quick cache and dashes at or near railway stations.
This one is located as near as we could get to the location of the station. The actual station was located on the other side of the canal between the bridge and the houses and was for passengers only. There is very little sign of it today although if you look back carefully from the bridge on College Street you can just about make out evidence of the platforms.
