35 mile view Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Pinfold: I think I'll archive this to open up the area for new caches. This one has a habit of going walkies and I tend not to visit this area too often now. Thanks to all who visited and enjoyed the view.

Geocache Description:

A park and grab, but stay a while if the visibility is good.

This has got to be one of the best views around. From this spot you can see Lincoln Cathedral, the edge of the Peak District, Cotham Power Station near Retford, the windfarm at Rainworth near Mansfield and features around Newark, oh and a stunning view of the Vale of Belvoir –all assuming it’s a clear day that is!

The cache is almost a park and grab, in fact it has its own little parking space. If the weather is nice a picnic may be in order as you enjoy the views. Describe in your logs what you can see during your visit, I’d like to know what the furthest discernible feature is from this point (ignoring celestial and atmospheric objects!).

Original cache went walkies some time ago so I've had to replace it with a micro. The treasure here is the parking location. Bring a pair of binoculars with you if the visibility is good.
