A MUST SEE location for anyone vising Nelson! Enjoy the gorgeous view at this cache! Twice before have caches faced muggle death at this historic locale. Twice before have they fallen. This time may the gods smile upon us, may the cachers practice stealth and replace the cache exactly as they found it, and may there not be too many curious strangers about! Please mark this as a favourite if you enjoy this cache location.
People have been taking pictures at this historic viewpoint for many many years. I have a photo of my aunt posing here in before world war II. Why not add your own photo to the collection? Be sure to check out the Gyro Park Viewpoint earth cache while you are here! You can approach this cache by an excellent but steep path from the bottom near downtown, or make your way to the Gyro Park parking lot N 49 29.773. W 117 17.150. and enjoy the myriad of paths that can take you to the cache!
Suggestion: go all the way down to the lookout, admire the view, then turn around and use your geosenses to find this logical hide.
