Geocache Description:

A wide, fairly level trail through the wooded, wilderness area in the township park. There are some interpertative signs. Total trail length is 3/4 mile.

Park is located on the shore of Lake Superior. There is camping, showers and a nearby playground.

There are several entrances to the wilderness trail. There is ample parking at the park shower building. I used the entrance directly across the street from the showers. Cache is .17 mi from this entrance and 100' off the trail. Other entrances to the trail may be closer to the cache, but parking is not as easy.

You are looking for a painted peanut butter jar. This cache is not placed on the ground so if you want to trudge through some snow, you should be able to find it in the winter too.
