När Mora stenar har en historia som sträcker sig bakåt till Magnus Ladulås kröning 1275 har rastplatsen bara funnits sedan 2007. Det var då som motorvägen byggdes om och den nuvarande rastplatsen skapades.
Du som besöker rastplasten hittar här lekredskap, toaletter, bänkar och tavlor med information om Uppsala. Dessutom finnns det en latrintömmning som kan användas av de som har husbil eller husvagn.
I november 2010 var det besvärligt att nå minneshuset med resterna av Mora stenar från denna rastplats. De två grindar som finns i staketet var båda låsta när jag var här. Men du kan hitta andra sätt att passera viltstaketet i både södra och norra delen av rastplasten.

Firstly: You are now at one of the six reststops that are placed beside E4 in Uppland.
Secondly: If you are here to see the Mora stones then you are at the wrong place. The house where the memorial stones are placed is located 500 meters towards northeast.
When the history of the Mora stones reach back to the coronation of Magnus Ladulås in 1275 this restplace has only been here since 2007. It was then that the highway was rebuilt and the restplace was created.
As an visitor you will find playground equipment, toilets, benches and informations boards about Uppsala. There is even a room where owners of campers and caravans can empty the latrin.
In novmeber 2010 it was difficult to reach the memorial house that contains the remains of the Mora stones from this reststop. The two gates in the fence was both locked when I was here. But it is possible to find other ways to pass the fence in the south and north end of the restplace.
