Geocache Description:

A small puzzle cache located on BLM land between a canal and the Pronghorn resort area. Elevation is 3170'.

This puzzle cache is not for everyone (maybe no one). The first thing this cache will force you to do is either learn what the "ignore listing" button will do for you or to goggle "Garmin chirp". To complete this cache you must have special equipment, i.e. a gps that will detect chirps. If you don't have one or can't beg, borrow, or_____ one, drop me an email and we can get together and use mine. Part of this puzzle cache will require you to research the chirp and determine if your receiver will detect one and then figure out how to use your receiver to detect one. Due to this new technology your receiver may have the capability to detect chirps but will need a software update to make it work, one more thing to research for this puzzle cache. Having said all that and if you haven't already hit the ignore button, let's get to how this cache can be found.

This is basically a multi cache with 2 waypoints and a final cache. The coordinates posted above will take you to a waypoint where you will be searching for a container that holds the coordinates to the second stage of the multi. Put those coordinates in your receiver and go to them. This second waypoint is where the chirp will be located. You do not need to find the chirp, as it will transmit the data you need to find the cache to your receiver. Here's where your research will pay off, as you will know what you need to do to receive the information from the chirp, based on the gps you have. The chirp will be transmitting the final coordinates and the hint for the cache. If this is about as clear as mud and you still want to find out about this new technology and find the cache, just drop me an email and I can try to answer your questions. Some say this type of cache should be rated a 5 for difficulty since it requires "special" equipment, but I just don't see it being much different than a cache that needs a compass or a gps that can project a bearing etc., so I'm only going to rate it 4.5 for difficulty. The terrain is flat with a few small rocks to navigate through and the road to the suggested parking area is a smooth with gravel, good for any vehicle.
