Geocache Description:

This cache was placed as part of Scouting's newly created Geocaching Merit Badge in honor of Scouting's 100th Anniversary! This cache is being watched closely by its local Troop. Any pictures you post along with your log will be greatly appreciated.

This cache is a "disguised" ammo can and is filled with many kid friendly items in its effort to promote the values of scouting. We hope you enjoy the "outing" that this Scouting project has to offer!

The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organiztion. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsiblity of participating citizenship, and devlops personal fitness.

For nearly a century, the BSA has helped build the future leaders of this country by combining educational activites and lifelong values with fun. The Boy Scouts of America believes- and, through nearly a century of experience, knows- that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society.
