South Fork American River Trail

This new bridge crosses Acorn Creek and opens up 25 miles of a multi use trail.
There are many reasons to explore this new trail such as seasonal wildflowers, seasonal grasslands, Oak woodlands, sage covered ridges and many views of the river below..

Please tread lightly as there are many endangered species of plants in the area...

Stealth may be needed when foot traffic is heavy as it was this morning

And as always be ware of your surroundings with the wildlife
