This cache is located down an old dirt crush and run rock road. Please conduct yourself respectfully as there are some people living on this road. I have to say that unless you have a 4wd or something of the sort avoid taking Yarbourgh st. instead come at the cache from the Sweet Water rd. side. This road is maintained pritty well but with weater the road condition can change.
Most every town has an urban legend or two and Edgefield S.C. is no exception. Ever since I was a teenager I have been coming to this area, mostly to visit Horn Creek baptist church as it is said to be haunted. But we all heard the story of calling out into the darkness telling an entity that you have it's baby. Well I have done it myself in my youth and happily nothing happend. But when dilling with the paranormal you just never know. Try it yourself if you dare but be for warned, if you go looking for danger most likely you will find it. And if you are looking for a good scare, located very near here on the same road is another one of my caches called the spooky old church of Edgefield. At this location I have witnessed some really weird goings on. Both caches are a great night cache( if you dare ). Along the way I was using a new app I down loaded to my smart phone and it is ghost radar. It is suppost to detect energy such as a ghost. I did not put much faith into it but the really strange thing is that it was not picking up anything until I got near the church and it kept going off until I got passed cry baby bridge, honestly.
