Ciao collega geocacher,

Dopo oltre un mese dalla mia nota, non ho ricevuto alcuna risposta nè visto alcuna modifica.
Se non lo hai ancora fatto, per favore raccogli ogni eventuale resto della cache al più presto possibile. Se hai intenzione di intervenire sul cache, una volta completata l'operazione per favore lasciatemi un messaggio con il numero waypoint GC relativo alla cache. Sarò più che lieto di verificare nuovamente la cache per verificare la sua conformità con le linee guida.

Grazie per l'attenzione e per ogni ulteriore informazione ti prego di non esitare a contattarmi o attraverso il message center oppure inserendo un log in questa cache.

After more than one month from my last note I didn't receive any answer and no action has been done.
If you haven't done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible. If you are going to fix the problems connected to this cache, once it is ready please drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache. I will be more than happy to take a look at your cache again to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

Una passeggiata sul lungomare che vi condurrà alla porta che si apre sul bellissimo panorama offerto dal golfo di Follonica.

Primo stage
Le coordinate del listing corrispondono pressappoco all'inizio del corso pedonale, dove si trova una meridiana analemmatica.
Si tratta di una meridiana dove l'ombra dell'osservatore serve a stabilire l'ora. Per compensare l'inclinazione del sole, in diversi periodi dell'anno, bisogna spostarsi lungo un segmento tracciato per terra. Per altri dettagli guardate questo link.
Alle coordinate iniziali troverete un cartello con le istruzioni per l'uso della meridiana. Il numero di minuti della costante locale corrisponde al numero A.
Per raggiungere la cache potete percorrere il lungo mare in direzione Sud e farvi una bella passeggiata.

A walk along the seaside of Follonica. You'll be lead to the door facing the beautiful panorama of the Gulf.

First step
The coordinates of the listing will took you at the beginning of the pedestrian area. Here there is an analemmatic sundial.
It is a kind of sundial where your shadow will show the right time. To compensate the sun's inclination (varying during the year) you should place yourself in the right point. To have some other info you could have a look at this link.
In this place there is a plate with user instruction (in Italian). The minutes beside the words "Costante locale" are the number A.
To reach the cache you can have a relaxing walk on the seaside, heading southward.

The final coordinates are N 42°55.(214+A) - E 10° 45.(363+A).
