Ye Olde Roadside Travel Bug Bed & Breakfast Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Geo_Team_XZKE: We retrieved this cache today from its once happy environment. Someone has recently posted lots of ugly and bright no trespassing signs throughout this area. This is an unfortunate situation for Ye Olde Travel Bug Bed & Breakfast. There were no travel bugs residing in the cache. We are planning to refinish the original cache and relocate to another part of the city. Thanks to everyone for helping to make this a fun cache.

Geocache Description:

Ye Olde Roadside Travel Bug Bed & Breakfast

Do you have a Travel Bug or Geocoin that
is weary, restless, or wanting to travel? Well, this is the perfect
place! We made sure that the bed linens are clean and fresh, to
assure you that your T.B or Geocoin will enjoy their
stay!

We placed this cache on a beautiful
old road that runs near a major highway that can be accessed
easily. You cannot drive on this road, but it is a beautiful
(short) hike from the parking spot. Also, X and I started our Paris
Girl T.B. here!

The lucky first to find will get
$2.00 and some change to buy yourself a cup of hot cocoa! We ask
that you respect the cache, things in the cache, the old road, and
the nature around it! All in all, this is a great resort. Your
T.B.s will enjoy the scenery! We are the best stay because; we have
a plush bed, a dresser, and beautiful pictures on the wall. But
please don’t take the bed or dresser! They are permanently
attached to the cache container, and the TB’s need something
to sleep on. Well, we hope you will always enjoy your rest, at The
Roadside Travel Bug Bed & Breakfast!!!

--X and Z

P.S. Notes from X, this is an old
section of Ewing Road, which was closed and redirected when 79 was
paved to go through the area. This road doesn’t appear to be
on any maps published after the 1970’s. We’re including
a waypoint for parking at the beginning of the old road. We
don’t recommend trying to go for a park and grab from the
active parallel street of Thelma. Not only is the drop off here
steep and possibly dangerous, parking on this road would most
likely attract local muggles to the cache. Park at N 40. 24.169 W
