Chicken Licken Traditional Cache

This cache is a micro (with an attachment) hidden on the edge of Carnearny Forest.
Once upon a time, there was a little chicken called Chicken Licken. He was quite a stupid little chicken. One day he was walking through Carnearny Forest. It was autumn. A beech nut fell from a tree. It fell on his head. “Oh dear”, said Chicken Licken, “the sky is falling down!” I must go and tell Croaghan, the king of Ulster’s geocachers. So Chicken Licken hurried on down the lane.
To cut a long story short on his way he met Henny Lenny, Cocky Locky, Ducky Lucky, Drakey Lakey, Goosey Loosey and Turkey Lurkey. Eventually they all met Foxy Loxy (alias fastfox). They told him their story that the sky was falling down and that they were going to Croaghan so that he could inform all geocachers. “Hmmm” Foxy Loxy said, “This is important. Come with me . I can take you to Croaghan”. So they followed Foxy Loxy through Tardree Forest, over Browndod Hill, waded the Sixmilewater and into Foxy Loxy’s house near Tildarg. And, who was there? Not Croaghan, but Mrs. Fox and all the little foxes. They all had a lovely dinner – and who did they have for dinner?
Not so fast. Chicken Licken escaped – and you can find him where this story began. So Chicken Licken wasn’t so stupid after all.
There is parking (please be considerate) for a couple of cars at the waypoint listed below. When (if) you find him look out for his green “egg”. Bring a pencil. Please cover him up well afterwards – it can be very cold in Carnearny.
By the way there are lots of foxes in this forest – so keep your eyes peeled if you are a little chicken.
PS – apologies to the real authors of Chicken Licken.
PPS – I tried for a long time to get a good GPS fix – the surrounding trees will challenge your GPSr.
