Geocache Description:

Hidden in the forest lies the Forsaken Isle. Can you find the treasure it holds?

To access the cache i recommend that you park your car in the parking lot by the hotdog caboose on Greenwood Ave. From there you will see Newton Rd, walk onto it. Shortly after turn right onto Cedar Hill Ave, shortly after that you will see a gravel road straight ahead of you. Walk on that and in a few feet you will see a trail. At that point it is up to you. Have fun and explore.
This cache has rough terrain and is probably not for the elderly or disabled. It would probably be ok for kids as long as they are 10+. I highly recommend u wear long pants for this cache. Be prepared for some thorns, tall reeds, and possibly hopping rocks over a creek depending on the route you choose. Also, please note that the area surrounding the cache can get a little muddy so i would advice that if there was just a heavy rainstorm, wait a bit before visiting the cache or wear boots.
I understand that some GPSs place the cache right in the heart of Maple Lake but you will never have to go through water to reach this cache. Also, don't go on the train tracks that are a ways to the right of the entrance. They will just slow you down anyway.
