The Det "Stash" Traditional Cache

The terrain difficulty is simply enough because it is a dirt road and you will have to walk a few feet up loose sand. I was going to make it a 2 or so until I got the van stuck trying to turn around. If you do not have a 4wd vehicle, keep going straight until you get to the hardball.
From the cache location you can see Marine Corps Base Twentynine Palms. When a Marine goes away from his home station to train it is a detachment or det. Many Marines take this opportunity away from home to grow a mustache. This is usually called a "det stash".
This cache is dedicated to all the Marines that have to come out to this base and grow their stashes. Some of my Marines had their picture taken with their det stash for this cache.
I ask you to take a picture with your best det stash, even if it is a pen or your finger. We will concider it your det stash and thank you for your participation.
