HELP! Circles, Circles everywhere. I have been a
mathematician all my life, but I never noticed that people keep
using those stupid circles for everything. I hate circles! Why is
everything round, ok, wheels need to be, but roundabouts? And why
is a road around (round again!) a city called a "ring road" or
"circle road" even though it is no where near a circle, at least
not in a mathematical sense, and I am a brilliant mathematician
after all...
I am going crazy, there is no getting away from those stupid
circles, even physics formulas that have no relationship with
circles use circle stuff, or do physics professors eat too much
pie, I keep forgetting which is which.
As a mathematician I like transcendentals as the next guy,
there are more transcendentals than normal numbers, so I must like
them, but why do some trancendentals keep appearing everywhere, are
there not enough for them to spread the attention? And oh why all
these circles????
Oh well, I might as well give up, the world is made of pie,
or is that pi? I cannot figure out which I like more, maybe
both?
