Tri-Neighborhood Community Garden of Norfolk Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Laurie_at_the_Beach: It has been a wonderful 5 years of community gardening at its best. Many thanks to all the geocachers that 'Found' The Garden and we hope everyone enjoyed the fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables. [:)]

PS - As CO, I'll make sure all TBs and tokens are happily relocated to other caches.

Geocache Description:

The Tri-Neighborhood Community Garden of Norfolk is an all-volunteer community garden. Our geocache is an old ammo box located in one of the permanent garden beds. Terrain is garden beds surrounded by grass lawns with sawdust and wood chip walkways. On-street parking is available near the garden. Enjoy the garden during daylight hours and share your garden photos along with your log notes.

Located within the Neighborhoods of Lindenwood, Villa Heights and Park Place is the Tri-Neighborhood Community Garden of Norfolk. The Garden is a non-profit effort manned entirely by volunteers as a community teaching garden promoting a prosperous, equitable and sustainable world.
Our mission is:
To build better community relations,
To educate folks about gardening,
To beautify the neighborhood,
To feed the hungry.
Take some time to walk around and enjoy the ever-changing garden; and if you are hungry, please sample any of the ripe vegetables. Look us up on facebook.
