North Street in Brighstone is one of the prettiest roads on the island, with its thatched cottages, and close to the birthplace of my wife (Sue) - her great grandmother used to live in what is now the post office.
Although it might be possible (especially out of season) to park closer, we would suggest parking in the (free) car park which can be accessed via Warnes Lane, next to the Three Bishops pub (co-ordinates below). From there the cache is just a few minutes gentle walk and you will be able to see for yourself the beauty of North Street.
The cache container is a small silver cylinder located very close to North Street, but hopefully at a quieter spot as the area is very popular in the summer months. Can finders please make sure the cache is repositioned on the structure on the side away from the road, so that it isn't visible to anyone walking past on the road and please bring along a pen.
The route to the cache is on firm ground, so ok for pushchairs (although as ever, please keep your eye on children due to the roads and lack of footpaths in some areas) and should be wheelchair accessible although assistance might be needed to retrieve the cache itself.
