Geocache Description:

This is the third of five caches hidden in St. John's Wood, Harpenden culminating into a wooded area known as "The Ups and Downs".

The caches are different shapes and sizes and hidden around the wood which is excellent for mountain biking and dog walking.

The woods can be quite popular and get quite busy so you may need to use a bit of stealth.

This is a medium sized picked onion jar that still smells a bit like picked onions.

From the cache location, looking back into the wood, you can see a fast jump on the left (better approached from the opposite direction) a large jump in the middle, and some rooty singletrack to the right.

The cache is located near a clearing at the entrance to the ups and downs, which was the dumping ground for many rucksacks and bbqs in the days when we had time to spend all day throwing ourselves and our bikes down the jumps!
