Geocache Description:

This cache will take you on a nice walk through some of the nice Bergen County parks. The walk is about 2.2 miles round trip if you use the Chirp option. Nice and flat terrain.

This was/is a Chirp cache. There is a puzzle below if you can not get the Chirp to work. To try the CHIRP, Start at the parking coordinates. If you don't get the final coordinates, before you get to the cache pages coordinates, something went wrong. Go back to your car and try it again.

Since there seems to be some trouble with people getting the coordinates from the chirp there is a puzzle below. When I last checked on the Chirp it was working, but it has been out a while.

1110 1110 1110 1010 0000 0010 1110
0110 1001 0110 0110 1010 0000 0010

It is about 1 mile north of the list coordinates. Just off the paved
trail (5 - 10ft). Near a parking area.

A CHIRP compatible device is needed for this cache. The cache is not at the icon location but a walk around this location with a CHIRP enabled device will soon pick up the final coordinates. Not all GPSs can find this cache; only Garmins and only Garmin Dakota 20, GPSMAP62’s, GPSMAP78’s, Oregon 300-550’s. If you don't have one of the listed GPS units, soon the iphone will have an APP that can pick up it's signal. If you do have the correct Garmin, make sure it is updated using the Garmin web Updater online. Once updated, set it up to receive Chirps under the geocaching program. Please don't look for the chirp, it is not meant to be found. If you do find it...it will do you no good. It can only be programed by the GPS which initially programmed it and is useless to anyone else. You can read up on the Chirp by going online to Garmin's website and searching for Chirps. Happy caching and good luck.
