Geocache Description:

The 1st cache in the Curse of the Goatman Series! This series is extremely easy and aimed at Family caching and you are encouraged to take a photograph with your kiddos (or by yourself) and upload it here. It's okay to include the cache container in the photograph also.

This is a series of caches on Evergreen and Tri-City Beach Roads - the oldest and scariest places in Baytown. Rumors of darkness surround this series and it is definitely NOT for the faint of heart. Don't be embarrassed if you remember the hair on your neck standing up when on this lonely stretch of backwoods...or panpipe music. Last warning! Do NOT do this series at night - unless you are absolutely fearless or have a photo of Chuck Norris in your hand for courage.

Please post your own scary photos taken while caching the series on each cache page! Don't be skeered!

Goatman Fact: Eyeball witnesses swear the Goatman is an exceptionally hairy humanoid creature roughly seven feet tall, hooved, with claws, horns, and a lumpy bald head with hairy warts and stuff...like KeyResults.

Congrats to Nebulus703/Latitude_Attitude for FTF!

Please pick up any trash or refuse on your way out and do your best to re-hide the cache in the original configuration. Parking is on the side of the road (no shoulder) and will have standing water after a rain, so be careful. Thank you and happy geocaching!

This series is dedicated to all children (and their parents), but especially the beautiful Rachel Nicole Hillier (RIP). She had Cri-Du-Chat Syndrome. Children born with this rare genetic defect will most likely require ongoing support from a team of parents, therapists, and medical and educational professionals to help the child achieve his or her maximum potential. Her father, Latitude_Attitude is an avid geocacher and brings all of his children geocaching whenever it is possible. Both children and adults with this syndrome are usually friendly and happy, and enjoy social interaction. With early and consistent educational intervention, as well as physical and language therapy, children with 5p- Syndrome are capable of reaching their fullest potential and can lead full and meaningful lives.
