The Head of Steam is housed in
the railway station buildings and can be accessed from Platform 1
and, from the recently renovated St. Georges
Square.
Being well served by local and
regional public transport links, you will have the opportunity to
sample a few glasses of whatever tickles your
fancy.

Car parking, 100 metres.
Bus station, 250 metres.
Those of us that enjoy our real
ales will be well catered for as the pub has 10 hand pumps knocking
out the dark stuff. There's usually a selection of guest ales,
guest lagers, cider and stouts too.
Food is served until 9:00pm
with last food orders taken at 8:30pm. A menu is available online
at the Head of Steam website and, includes light bites, soup,
sandwiches, salads, pasta, burgers, steaks/grills, fish n chips,
various pies and, daily specials.
So
that I can forewarn the restaurant manager, please let me know if
