Geocache Description:

The Cache is NOT at the listed Co-ords. This is a parking Place. The Church was originally a chapel of ease to the parish of Prestbury dedicated to St.Thomas the Matyr,later it was changed to St.Lawrence and then to St.Mary the Virgin. The Red sandstone tower dates from 1500 and the rest was rebuilt in brick in 1777 which replaced the orginal timber construction. Unfortunately the older part of the graveyard is very neglected but the newer is very tidy.

Cache is at N53 11.(1)(D+9)(B) W002 07.AAC A = month in the year Thomas Percival died B= 2nd figure of the year Eliza Baddeley died C= 3rd figure of the year Susan Thompstone died D= 2nd figure of the age of Albert Edward Mitchell when he died E=1st Figure of the day Joseph & Rachel Hammond's son died. If anybody would like to expand on this series ,please do so.
