This little beach on the lake was a place that for years we took our dogs to swim.
Sometimes in the fall we would find shot gun shells, so I guess it had other uses too!
We would often see deer here, as there was and still may be, a large herd on the Stelco property.
US Steel has closed this beach access now,which we really can't understand as it is not near any of the operations of USS.
So it is Gone To The Dogs for swimming.
