This Cache is located at the site of a wall mural based on a painting by artist Mike Eckhard of Alton.
The mural was initiated by a group of local citizens. It then became a project of the Alton-Godfrey Rotary Club.
Euripides "Rip" Kastaris of St. Louis is the muralist who painted the 60' x 70' work of art depicting a history of the Riverbend area.
It was dedicated to "The Resilient Citizens of the Riverbend" on September 11, 2010.
This cache was placed with the permission of the property owner.
