Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed with the kind permission of the Rev. Daffydd Robinson.

The village of Ulceby cum Fordington lies some 3 miles from Alford and is not to be confused with the bigger settlement in North Lincolnshire. It lies on the old Roman road connecting Burgh le Marsh and Louth.
All Saints church lies on the site of a much older place of worship. It was rebuilt in 1832 and seats 130.

Ulceby is home to the famous Lincolnshire Poacher cheese. Any true yellow belly (Lincolnshire person) is rightly proud of this local produce.
