Geocache Description:

A test tube sized micro placed on the back side of Colchester Pond.
Its about 15 feet from the correct trail leading to Colchester Pond Lookout.

While some of the cachers were attempting to find the caches up here, they missed a turn and had to do a little bushwhacking. There were some pretty good directions provided by Roostersting, but if you don't have all the correct info with you, just head for this cache.

After you find this cache continue on to the lookout.
You will be treated to an exceptional view at CPO (GC24PHD ) but well worth the 4 mile RT hike if you use the Southern approach. There are a few off shoot trails but Roostersting has provided some excellent way points to keep you going on the right ones. If you pay attention to them you might get there a little faster and would avoid any bushwhacking as none is necessary to reach the overlook. This is the voice of experience speaking. Pa Yoopers has listed them on his cache "3fer 4 now." (visit link) It might also be good to plug these coordinates into your GPS "AFTER" you have had your morning coffee. Again, this is the voice of experience speaking. Many thanks Roostersting and Pa yoopers.
The park is closed at dusk and the gate WILL be locked.
