Cache ved friluftshuset på Orre
Friluftshuset på Orre i Rogaland er Jæren friluftsråd sitt informasjonssenter for friluftsliv og naturvern.
Huset ble bygget i 1987 og utvidet i 1992. 16. desember 1999 brant senteret ned til grunnen, men ble bygget opp igjen i samme stil og gjenåpnet 16. mars 2002.
Friluftshuset har blitt et regionalt kultursenter med kunstutstillinger og konserter. I huset er det også temautstillinger om natur, friluftsliv og mediaprogrammer som kombinerer natur bilder, poesi og musikk. Huset ble tegnet av arkitekt Per Line.
Dette er et fint utgangspunkt for en tur langs Jærstrendene

Recreation center at Orre in Rogaland is Jæren Friluftsråd its information center for outdoor recreation and nature conservation.
The house was built in 1987 and expanded in 1992. 16. December 1999 burned down the center to the ground, but was rebuilt in the same style and reopened 16 March 2002.
The recreation center has become a regional cultural center with art exhibitions and concerts. In the house there are also thematic exhibitions on nature, outdoor activities and media programs that combine nature, poetry and music. The house was designed by architect Per Line.
This is a good starting point for a walk along Jæren
