There are lots of good hiking and biking caches in the broader area. This one was placed for the CCC Nite Out #62 Event and is not complicated. It's just a decent spot to grab something to treat yourself either after or to kick start a day of caching.
The CCC Nite Out #62 Event Cache is called Thankful for Caches because of its proximity to Thanksgiving. I sometimes take for granted, though, how fortunate I am to be able to eat out, to play, all my liberties... when others are hungry or needy. If you plan to grab this cache during the CCC Event, please consider bringing a non-perishable food item. I'll collect and bring donations to a local food bank. If you are reading this page after the CCC Event has come and gone, it's still a great thing to consider doing on your own. Thank you.
