Grumpy was a 1973 Gremlin. Before you laugh, let it be known it was my first car and the toughest and funnest car that I have ever owned. Grumpy is long gone, but his spirit lives on in a toy Gremlin that travels with us for photo opportunities. This is the second cache in the "Grumpy s Travels" series. This one will take you to what once was the Business mecca of beautiful downtown Copalis Beach. There was a store here at one time, a place where you could find 'everything' it was called 'Johnson's mercantile' Like Grumpy, Johnson's and Copalis Beach has long hit the history books, Copalis Beach was once the "Home of the Razor Clam" with many clam canneries in the vicinity.
