Geocache Description:

With CP-5 just around the corner, it'll be no time at all before it's history. We’ll have had a couple of days of caching fun and it’ll be time to give back to Jonathan Dickinson State Park. That’s what a CITO is all about.

Several options were discussed with the park staff and we’ve elected to do one of our favorite things, a little yard work.

The Event will begin at 9:30 AM and run until noon or until we finish.  The last time we did this, it took 1 & 1/2 hours.

We’ll be clearing back a natural looking buffer along both sides of the boardwalk at Hobe Mountain.  Beginning at the top, we’ll clear out around the tower and then work down both sides of the walk.  There really isn’t anything too large to clear, so we’ll be using lopping shears and hand shears to cut it back.

You’ll need to bring your own gloves.  If you have lopping shears and / or hand shears, please bring them as the park cannot supply all of us with them.

If we have a lot of participation, we should be able to finish the job in a few hours.  If we don’t finish, we’ll schedule another CITO in a few weeks to finish up.  Like they say, many hands make light work.

Let’s make it happen folks!
