Do not go to the listed coordinates! You will only find the shop where I take my cars to be repaired. The proprietor, Doug, will not be able to help you find the cache.
Some folks express reservations about mystery caches. “The puzzle is too hard,” “The questions are too obscure,” “The cache write-up is a complete mystery.” All are valid reasons to shy away from ‘the cache with the question mark.’
I decided to create this mystery cache so everyone, at least I hope everyone, can score a mystery cache.
Below are four questions you must answer to complete the coordinates for the cache container. In case a question is too difficult, I have given you two questions for each of the missing numbers. You only need to answer one of the two questions. Both questions should have the same answer. At least I think so.
Here are the coordinates of the cache, with the letters, A, B, C and D,taking the place of four of the numbers:
N 41 35.AB4 ; W 081 28.CD6
1(A) A standard human has this many digits on their left hand. OR; A geometric shape called a pentagon has this many sides. This is answer A.
2(B) Pick one of these animals: cat, dog, horse, zebra, Apatosaurus. All of these are quadrupeds. How many legs does the animal you selected have? OR; A standard deck of cards has this many suits. This is answer, B.
3(C) 1+1+1+1=? OR; The whole number that falls between three and five. This is answer, C.
4(D) Pick one of these sports: Baseball, soccer, volleyball, hockey, or rugby. How many teams compete against one another at one time? (not players, teams.) OR; On the planet Earth, a bicycle has this many wheels. This is answer D.
I have included a coordinate checker for those of you that are unsure of you answers. (Really?) But you can locate parking on the map that appears when you enter the correct coordinates. Parking is about 500 ft. east.
There is an abundance of natural material nearby. Please use some to cover the cache and make sure it is not visible before you leave.
