York County Hikes – People play this game for a variety of reasons. For us, geocaching represents a way to explore the natural beauty hidden around us. We decided to place a series of caches that will take you to some lesser used parts of the county and will hopefully get your heart pumping at the same time. Have fun, be safe, and enjoy all of what York County has to offer!
Located in State Game Lands 327, the cache is a small hourglass container. Start at the given parking coordinates and follow the trail until you are less than 0.20 away - then you are on your own from there. Wear orange during hunting season and keep your eyes open for some wildlife.
Hike Length: 2.45 round trip
Water Crossing: Yes - but over a nice bridge
Terrain: Wide trail most of the way with some bushwhacking at the end - some elevation changes as well.
Congratulations to andGuest on FTF!
