Geocache Description:

I asked Dayton, Texas brothers Cletus and Buford to help me identify the local geography and populace while I was out and about placing geocaches. Buford does the talkin' and Cletus provides the "reasonin'". This is number Twenty One in the series. Thanks fellars!

 

Geocaching in Baytown Texas!

The Confederate Shipyard of Goose Creek, The Bayland Guards, and the Bayland Orphanage historical markers are all located at Bayland Park, in beautiful Baytown, Texas. According to Trevia Beverly of the Harris County Historical Commission, it is very rare to have so much history and three markers in one place. Feel free to post a photo of yourself in front of the markers for extra caching mojo!
