Did Darwin to Adelaide when it was open speed limit in the NT.
Found out that at near maximum speed on a Honda CBR1100XX that your $460 rear tyre can and will be trashed by the time you reach Tennant Creek. Had to baby it home the next 2000kms back to Adelaide where I had to buy a new one. Ouch.
Also the coppers would pull you over and can charge you with dangerous driving, ask me how I found out.
However with the 130 limit you won't be able to find out how much fun it was.
