Geocache Description:

This is a nano cache, LOG ONLY..BYOP and nano-log tool! The old Steam Locomotive C12187 has been given a beautiful restoration and new paint, and is now on display at its new home! Cache container is a nano-pill.

This beautifully restored locomotive has been in a "cage" in the rear of the Daigo Community center since the early 1970's, and has now been moved to a more appropriate, permanent display location. You can come by train or car, or bus for that matter. You can enjoy lunch at the nearby soba shop, bakery, or many other places within walking distance. There is a Yamazaki Shop convenience store nearby too.

There is a new paid parking lot next to the SL, but you can park free behind the soba shop, or at the nearby community building Ma-in
