A cache that will take you a few hundred metres off your intended path at a monument that few find or visit.
I drove past the "Historical Marker" sign many many times. I even stopped once or twice and gave up after searching for some time.
This trip I drove the short detour again and finally I found it.
This cache will take you to a monument with a short but sad story from 1939.
In someways it's related to the final location of a Grey Nomads cache just down the road. You can work out the rest.
Note. May be snow covered at times during winter, but not regularly.

(Watch out for snakes in summer months.)
