For those not familiar with the program, 'Ashes to Ashes' was a time-travelling police drama series set in the early 1980s. Three series of 'Ashes to Ashes' were first broadcast between 2008 and 2010. It served as a sequel to the equally popular series, 'Life On Mars'. Both productions gained something of a cult following in the UK.
This cache, a nano, has been placed very close to the building which was used as the police station in series one of 'Ashes to Ashes'. In the show, the station was called Fenchurch East.
In 1981, the year in which the first series is based, this building was actually used by the London Stock Exchange. Across the road is Alexanders Restaurant which was used as Luigi's restuarant during the series. The characters, DCI Gene Hunt, DI Alex Drake and the rest of their squad would regularly congregate in Luigi's after a tough day chasing blaggers and nabbing villains. Above Luigi's, of course, was Alex Drake's flat.
The cache is available 24/7, but as with many urban caches the area is often busy with muggles, so take care not to get spotted and please replace the container in the same place you found it.
Happy hunting!
