This cache is located just off Blue Mountain Road in the Maclay Flats area. Great parking, bathrooms and walking trails with information about flora and fauna of the area. The cache is only about 70 yards off a well-maintained trail. No uphill or downhill stuff in this area..
About two years ago a cow moose and her baby moved into this area and apparently she is still around. In fact, according to a Forest Service employee that I talked to yesterday, there are now three moose in the group. I personally haven't seen them, but I have seen many of their footprints and their scat.
This is a good one for children and adults alike. You are looking for a bison capsule. After you have found the cache, please replace it as you found it so that others may enjoy the search.. Bring your own writing tool.
