Geocache Description:


This is the Turtle series of geocaches. These were based on the Bee series of geocaches that shortcutsrus has placed along Route 17. I loved that series so much that I decided to place a series of turtles along Route 17 closer to my house. The turtles were chosen because I am a member of the Turtle Club. Are You A Turtle? This is the sixth of the Turtle series. It can be found along the Route 17 Northbound side at the Verizon Wireless World store in the strip mall that contains Lowe's, Chili's, and Starbucks. This is where the Turtle stopped and got his Shellphone (get it, cellphone!).

Bring your own pen as this turtle is very small! You will find the log book magnetized in a waterproof container to the turtle, but the turtle itself is not magnetized to any other items. Please reattach the logbook to the turtle after you are finished. the seal is closed on the turtle so the logbook does not get wet. You may need to use your pen or even bring tweezers to get the logbook out of the container/vial.

PLEASE NOTE: This is the same turtle geocache that was on the Southbound side of Route 17 at the T-mobile store next to Dunkin Donuts. Because that store went out of business and the turtle could no longer buy his SHELLphone, I have moved him to where he can buy a SHELLphone down the road on Route 17 at the Verizon Wireless World. The logbook from the original turtle is in this turtle.
