A Beckoning Stork Loots Traditional Cache
plugh1980: It seems that the container has been damaged to the point where it was no longer workable. Thanks for all of the kind comments and especially all of the favorite votes.

I had to replace this cache container - twice. This latest version is in the same theme, but very different than the original.
For this version, you WILL need a tool to retrieve the log. A small pen knife should do just fine. I will probably hide something near by eventually.
Some of the log messages might not make total sense any more.
The most challenging cache that I've ever found (OK, it wasn't me that spotted it - but I signed the log, so it counts) is “Watt's Up?” (GC217BV), by Alpinebobl. For me, finding this cache required at least 3 or 4 trips to Truckee, CA and involved dancing around and around in circles until MHoopFam finally spotted it.
My cache is not nearly that difficult, in fact, it's really pretty easy. But while searching for “Watt's Up?, I spotted something and thought, “What? Could that be the cache?”. No, it wasn't. Alpinebobl had come up with something far more devious. But it did get me thinking, “what a cool cache container that would have made”!
So now, I offer you...
A Beckoning Stork Loots
This cache container is a micro - I know, everyone but me hates micros, but I like em. It's camouflaged for the urban environment and it has just enough room for a log. The cache container is located on a public bike/hiking trail. It's in plain sight. It may be difficult to spot - or you may spot it immediately as you walk up to GZ.
It is not necessary to enter or even reach into, anyone's private property in order to retrieve the container. It is not necessary to damage anything in order to find/retrieve the container - no stripping bark, no breaking branches, no busting up wood, no weed whacking.
Like I used to tell my mini cachers, "look with your eyes not with your hands".
