A micro hidden nearby the local tire store mentioned in description. It is meant to be easy enough for "first-timers" to find. IT IS NOT ON THE TIRE STORE PROPERTY!
I placed this cache to honor the place where I first learned of geocaching. I was sitting at Tire World waiting on our car and looking through magazines. In Southern Living, I found an article describing geocaching and it sounded rather interesting. I checked out the geocaching web site when I got home and the next day I borrowed a GPS and went out looking for my first find. Soon I was "hooked" and it wasn't long before I bought my own GPS. I've enjoyed it immensely ever since!
