PBL #1 Elkton Traditional Cache
Heplercache: Stopped by to check...and it was surely gone. Looks like it has become a hang out and this would be the second replacement so going to let this one go and look for a better location!!!!! Thanks for all the visits!!!!

Cache is located at a VA public boat landing(PBL). This is first in a series of caches that I will be hiding at PBL in the future. I enjoy being on the river and will post coordinates for the trips that I take either starting or ending at the cache locations! Cache is in a medium sized lock-n-lock container.
Original contents contain some swag and a FTF geocoin that I found at another cache which I was FTF...so I challenge the FTFer to hide a new cache and put this geocoin in it for the next FTF!

RIVER TRIPS
Trip #1:
Elkton to Shenandoah River Trip
Put in at these coordinates and take out at the following:
N 38 28.824 W 078 37.422
This is about a 6.5 mile float that can be done easily in a day. There are some fun ripples and rapids along the way, but nothing very technical and is a great float for the family! Bring your fishing pole and some lunch.
Trip #2:
Island Ford to Elkton River Trip
Put in at the following cooridinates and take out at this cache location:
N 38 21.263 W 078 41.751
This is about a 6.5 mile float and can be done easily in a day....I actually did it twice in one day this past spring..but I was paddling alot!!!!! There is one fairly technical rapid about a half mile down stream and fairly easy from that point on!
